The Establishing Successful Learning Behaviors (ESLB) course seeks to solve one of the most serious problems in today’s modern classroom. Procrastination, overusing electronics, and fixed mindset are among the largest factors responsible for the limited success of student populations in secondary education (Mills, 2016). A program that informs, educates, and monitors student progress toward eliminating unsuccessful behaviors and then replaces those behaviors with the behaviors of success will have the positive effect of  increasing student confidence and efficacy as long as learning objectives are monitored and met in the course (Xu, 2016). This course is designed to teach students recognition of addiction and procrastination behaviors and teach goal setting, prioritization, and progress monitoring to ensure their continued success in all learning environments.
